2 Days Itinerary | Glimpse of Engelberg
Day 1: Zurich – Engelberg | Featured Excursion: Visit Mount Titlis
Arrival Zurich Airport; transfer to Engelberg by train via Lucerne. It takes about 1 hour 50 minutes to get there. Or you can also take a private transfer from Zurich airport to Engelberg and enjoy the beautiful landscapes. It hardly takes about 1 hour 30 minutes. Check into your hotel or holiday home and head for your Mount Titlis excursion.
Hop on the 8 seater Cable car Titlis Xpress from Engelberg to Stand middle station. Then take the amazing TITLIS ROTAIR gondola all the way to the snow-capped summit. Up at the peak you can enjoy breathtaking panorama of snowcapped mountaintops and untouched Alpine landscapes.
Visit the Titlis Glacier Cave and ride the Ice Flyer chairlift. Experience the thrill of a lifetime with the Titlis Cliff Walk which is Europe’s highest hanging bridge.
Then have lunch at the restaurant. Hang around for some fun in the snow and pictures. Buy some souvenirs and chocolates from the Chocolate shop and check out the Indian snacks counter at the foot of Titlis before heading to your hotel. Evening free to explore the town on your own. Perhaps you could take a relaxing dip in one of our pools and then head for a yummy Indian dinner.
Day 2: Engelberg | Featured Excursion: Show Cheese Factory
After breakfast, stroll around the town of Engelberg, then visit the Show Cheese Factory where you can watch cheese being produced by hand. Stop by the shop’s restaurant and sample a cheese platter, delicious fondue or one of their tasty desserts. To remind you of your visit, unique souvenirs and regional food specialties can also be purchased here.
4 Days Itinerary | Highlights of Engelberg
Add two more days to the above itinerary and visit the following:
Day 3: Engelberg | Featured Excursion: Visit Lucerne
Take a day excursion to Lucerne which is just 50 minutes by train from Engelberg. Walk around the city & visit the Chapel Bridge, The Town Square, The Lion Monument and much more. Also visit the Swiss Museum of Transport which has been voted the most popular museum and theme park for the whole family. Have dinner at a restaurant in Lucerne and then head back to Engelberg.
This evening, try some delicious Fondue or Raclette for dinner.
Day 3: Engelberg | Featured Excursion: Picnic or Hiking
After breakfast stroll around the village or head to the local supermarket to stock up on some foods for your picnic this morning. Fill your basket with bread cheeses, and other goodies and head to one of our many serene picnic spots to enjoy your feast. Laze around in the grass, or play some sport, read a book just soak in the beautiful atmosphere.
Another great option would be to take a hike in the mountains, boost your circulation and enjoy the glorious views from the region.
Day 4: Engelberg | Featured Excursion: Sporting Park
Stock up on your breakfast as you have a long fun day ahead. Head to the Engelberg Sporting Park where you can enjoy a range of sports & games like Badminton, Tennis, Ice skating etc. It is a fun way to spend your day with family.
Day 4: Engelberg | Featured Excursion: Skiing OR Tobogganing
Try your hand at Skiing. We have slopes for beginners to experts. And it doesn’t matter if you don’t ski; you can hang around for the Après skis and enjoy the festive and lively atmosphere.
You can also go Tobogganing. Experience the thrill as your bobsled reaches the speed of 50km/ph. Excitement for the whole family!

Day 5: Engelberg | Featured Excursion: High Rope Park
After breakfast, head to the High Rope Park for some adventure. There are 6 levels of difficulty so there is something for everyone.
Or you can head to the Sporting Park for some wall climbing. We offer the perfect facility for first-time climbers or for experienced climbers who want to perfect their skills indoors. Later you can come back to the hotel and rest or take a dip in the pool before heading out to one of our many restaurants for a hearty dinner
Day 6: Depart Engelberg
Departure from Engelberg with some great memories. On your way you can view the beautiful scenery of Switzerland as well as explore some townships along the way.
